Bohol is fast being discovered
by tourists, whom are finding beautiful beaches, fantastic diving and
a good choice of Hotels and Resorts with more in the planning
stage.
At the moment most accommodation is situated around the
Tagbilaran and Alona Beach areas, although there are a smaller number
of resorts scattered around the island with more planned to cater for
the growing number of tourists that are finding the many pristine
beaches that are available , and now require good quality
accommodation.
Bohol is easy to get to with a
domestic airport with regular flights from Manila , and good fast
ferry service to Tagbiliran from Cebu.. Many expats settle in Bohol
due to friendly nature of the local people, the nice climate,
abundance of nice beaches and its relativley easy access to Cebu.
