About 2 hours bus ride and an hour ferry ride from Manilla , Puerto Galera is situated 210 kilometers south west of the Capital City.
Known mostly for its excellent scuba diving sites with visibility being 18 - 30 meters , it also has a lot to offer the non diver as well.
With the small alleyway type walkways amongst the bars and shops of Sabang where you can dance , drink and make merry till the early hours every night of the week , to the idylic White Beach where although busy in high season it still has a relaxed feel about it during the day which is perfect for the beach lover
There are many beautiful beaches on other parts of Puerto Galera to explore which are very quiet for that real chilled out 'Bounty Ad' feeling. Aninuan Beach is a perfect example of peaceful beauty with pure white sand and chrystal clear seas.
Inland too can be an adventure and a trip to the Falls or the Golf club with its panoramic views is fantastic.
Puerto Galera is a very freindly place and very safe for Westerners . With only relativley few cars most people travel by jeepney or tricylce.
