Subic Bay already has a strong Western influence on the population. Having been the biggest naval port outside America in years gone by , it retains an attraction for foriengners to relocate both becase of its location to Angeles and Manilla and the facitilities it has to offer expats relocating there.
Many of the businesses are run by non - Filippina residents so a warm welcome into the fold is assured and you wont feel out of place in Subic. The locals are also very used to seeing foriegners around the place and relations betwen the groups are very good.
There is housing and apartments available to rent or buy with number of subdivisions a little inland from the sea shore.
Everything you will need on a day to day basis is available here with Banks , Doctors etc . and the beauty of the beach areas and the business of the City centre assure you of the kind of atmospere that you might want to call your home.. If there are things you need and not available in Subic then Manilla is a 3 hour drive away with an easier and shorter journey to Manilla and Angeles when the Subic Expressway actually opens very soon .
