How To Get To SUBIC BAY
Subic is 210 kilometers Northwest of Manilla . Buses leave various bus terminals in Manila from areas such as Pasay , Caloocan , and Cavite every 30 minutes These are airconditioned and some have a video that you can watch on your journey. Time of the journey is approximatley 3 hours depending on the traffic wtth a comfort break during the journey.
You can hire a van ( minibus) or car with driver for around 3500 pesos for a car or 4000 pesos for a van. These tend to be more comfortable , cleaner and more modern than a normal taxi. A Taxi will cost about the same, but you might be able to negotiate a lower price depending on your bartering skills and how desperate the driver is for your business.You should make it to Subic in 2hrs 30 mintes depending on traffic.The new Expressway is NOW OPEN which makes the trip a lot qicker and easier.
THE SOUTHERN HOTEL SHUTTLE BUS travels once a day to Subic (Wild Orchid Resort , Baloy Beach) from Angeles leaving from the Orchid Inn at 8-45am and the Brass Knob Hotel and Bar at 9am. The return journey leaves the Wild Orchid Resort in Baloy Beach , Subic at 11am. This service also travels between Angeles and Manila ( stopping at the Southern Cross Hotel, Ermitta).
This is a modern. comfortable coach which has more legroom, wider seats, dvd entertainment and hostess on board.

If you are travelling from Angeles then there are regular buses from the bus station , and you can get coaches/ minibus from various Hotels in Angeles.
You can also hire a taxi to take you. Time from Angeles is approximatley 90 minutes depending on Traffic.
Subic also have an airport , although international standard its not as well publicised or known as Clark which is in Angeles as the airport at Subic is mostly used for Commercial flights.
