Boracay Nightlife- Bars,Restaurants and Live Music

Boracay is the most famous beach area in the Philippines, and is totally different to other areas such as Manila, Subic , Puerto Galera etc.
Boracay is only a small island and as such the nightlife is concentrated around the main 'White Beach' area with bars restaurants and entertainment in the hotels.
Night time is when Boracay comes alive and is lively until the early hours. Whether you want have a nice meal on the beach listening to a Guitarist / Singer or Dancing in the sand to a live band its all here.

DISCO's
There are also a few discos for the younger visitors. Some charge an entrance fee.
As mentioned previously the nightlife is centred around the beach area , but there is no shortage of venues playing live music while you eat a meal and dance until the earlly hours .

CULTURE
If its a more cultural experiance you require FRIDAYS HOTEL has cultural dancing and music every Friday night in Peak season. You might need to book as it gets very busy in high season.

BARS
There are many smaller bars around the Boat Station 3 area that are magnets for local expats .
Try TONI'S BAR which is also the location of White Divers Scuba Diving School. Here you be made to feel very welcome and many nights  many expats will be drinking and partying until the early hours , mostly sat near the beach. Good food is on offer and Toni likes to think of it as Boracays Best British Bar.
The usual Karoake is also available but not widespread if that is your entertainment of choice , some places have dance and singing competions.
There are a few cafe bars on the other beaches like Bulabog Beach , but these are more of a chill out place for relaxing and soaking up the atmosphere. These tend to be used by divers and kiteboraders to chill after a hard day on the waves and exploring the seas. Never the less they can be a great night out as you can meet some great fun people and find out lots of information about Boracay and the Philippines in general.

CINEMA
There is no cinema or theatre on Boracay, as the nightlife is concentrated around the beach.

DINING OUT.

Eating out is one of the main evening attractions of Boracay. With over 200 restaurants and cafes , there is sure to be something you will enjoy. establishments are usually open between 7am and 10 or 11pm.,but a few do stay open later. Fresh fish dishes are always a favourite.

SPAS
Visiting one of the many spas for a relaxing massage or beauty treatment is a favourite pastime in Boracay after a 'Hard' day on the beach. These range from the exclusive and therefore quite expensive places ( although still very cheap by Western standards) to taking a massage on the beach by the many therapists that offer there services.

To sum up- Boracay is a chilled out place especially during the day, with the main attraction being the many water sports on offer and just enjoying the glorious beach and sea. The evening comes alive in the bars , but if you want girlie bars as you find in Angeles City and Manila you will be disappointed.
Boracay is a unique and still beautiful place for a vacation in the Philippines.
