How To Get To BORACAY
To get to Boracay you will have to arrive at either Kalibo or Caticlan Airports and then catch a large banca from Caticlan port for the short 15 minute trip to the island. Some of the airlines only fly to EITHER Kalibo OR Caticlan . If you arrive at Kalibo you will have to transfer to a coach or taxi for the 2 hour journey to Caticlan port. If you arrive at Caticlan then you will be taken the by motortricycle to the jetty for the Banca
There are 3 boat stations on Boracay for arrivals and departures,these are just simply where you pull up on the beach and you may have to wade through a little water onto the beach. You are helped by the boatmen down the narrow walkway into the water which is usually only ankle deep and the helpers will take all your baggage. For this reason shorts and flip flops are sensible.
You might land at the main jetty which is a little away from the beach area but usually when u do this its when the resort you have booked will be waiting for you on the dock with transport to your hotel. If you are travelling independantly , then motor tricycles will be available to hire on your arrival.
