i) ---- Places of interest in BORACAY
Villages - Visit the local villages on Boracay and see how the local people live their lives. They are always thankful for any money you spend in the local sari sari store ( small usually family run roadside store) or cafe. Visit Yapak on the way to Puka Shell Beach or Manoc Manoc which is the Southern most Barangay ( district). The people are very welcoming to visitors.
Islands - Go island hopping ( there are 12 islands and many coves to explore). You can hire a banca for the half day or day and the boatman will arrange a picnic including drinks for you to enjoy... They will even do the barbecue for you , while you swim and explore.
Crystal Cove - you can swim in the clear waters ( although there are some strong currents ) walk inland by way of the concrete paths and explore the park like interior and view the strange sculptures of animals and mythological figures. Also some rare birds in cages to see.
Mount Luho. - the best view point on the island , the highest point on Boracay , you get a panoramic 360 degrees view over Boracay. You can get here by walking , horseback , or hire a motorbike.
