Manila has many interesting places to visit during your stay , some of which we will detail here. Of course there is always the Tourist Offices in Manila, which we have always found very helpful
The Philippines National Museum
This used to be the former Senate Building and has many artworks by Filipino artists. The National Museum is made up of 19 branches located throughout the Philippines

.Museum of the Filipino People
Near to the Museum above ,it is full of valubles and artifacts from around the Philippines.The former Congress building , it is located near to Rizal Park. This building houses the Arts and Natural sciences exhibitions.
Adjacent to this building in the Agrifina Circle of Rizal Park is the former Finance Building which houses the Anthropology and Achaeology Sections of the Museum.
Intramuros Visitor Centre
This is a very important and interesting walled area know as Fort Santiago, facing the Bay of Manila. Inside the walled area you will find the San Augustin Church , Manila Cathedral , and there are also museums, and many other interesting things to see. Some cultural shows are also held in the Intramuros Centre.
Intramuros is a great place to stop off to find out about all the tourist attractions in Manila and the Philippines in general as they have the Tourist office locate here
Intramuro also houses the Intramuros Badminton Centre with 7 courts (wooden floors) and in addition has 3 snooker tables and table tennis tables.
Rizal Park
- A nice place to have walk when the sun isnt too hot. This where you will see the monument of the National Hero of the Philippines -Dr Jose Rizal.
Malacanang Palace -
The home of the President of the Philippines and the Goverments Executive.It also houses a museum which welcome visitors.
American Cemetry -Situated in Global City , Taguig , Metro Manila. it is a shrine to the many that fell during the 2nd World War. It is a very impressive and moving site to see the many thousands of white crosses that bear witness to the sacrifice made by American servgicmen and women in order for the Philippines to remain free,

Corregidor Island-
A small island in the bay on Manila that was a scene of vicious and heroic fighting by Filippino and American troops during World War 2. Day tours can be arranged and is a very interesting visit.
Manila Hotel -
Located at beginning of Roxas Boulavard on the edge of Manila Bay , and not far from the Intramuros , its the oldest Hotel in Manila and was used as headquarters during the 2nd World War and a great example of American Colonial Architecture and well worth a look.
Malate -
Where much of the nightlife is situated The main area being around Bourgos Street. Any taxi driver will be able to take you there
Mall Of Asia -
Asias largest Shopping Mall and located facing the bay off Roxas Boulavard.
Many stores, designer shops, restaurants, cafes, and many live shows and competions are held here throughout the year.
Tagatay- a few hours outside Manilla but has fantastic views of the Vaal Volcano , the worlds smallest volcano. Trips can be arranged around the Volcano.
